Three-DVD set Showcases National Championship Basketball Season

A boxed set of three DVDs about the NCAA Division III men’s basketball championship won by St. Thomas will be available for purchase in early May, with an April 30 deadline for orders.

The set will include:

  • The NCAA DVD of the 78-54 title game win over the College of Wooster. The DVD includes the complete game, post-game celebration and trophy ceremony.
  • A Final Four weekend DVD produced by the City of Salem, Va., which was host to the Division III championship for the 17th consecutive year.
  • A St. Thomas DVD showing Final Four video footage from Web and Media Services and tommiemedia.com; semifinal and title game video stories by NCAA.com; Twin Cities area television stories about the post-championship celebration on campus; Final Four photo galleries from the St. Thomas Photo Service and tommiemedia.com; and a d3hoops.com “Hoopsville” interview with coaches Steve Fritz and Johnny Tauer.

The three-DVD set will cost $35. The NCAA charges $25 for its St. Thomas-Wooster title game video, and St. Thomas will charge an additional $10 to handle copying and mailing charges for the other DVDs.
