Career-development opportunities this month
Mark your calendar for these career-development opportunities over the next month:
Monday, Jan. 30 – It is not too late to register for the Feb. 28 Minnesota Private Colleges Job and Internship Fair. This event is open to all current undergraduate students and December 2005 grads. Sign up for a Job and Internship Fair information session on the CDC Web site.
Tuesday, Jan. 31 – Students planning summer internships and graduating seniors: Keep an eye on the companies that will be coming to campus to interview for internships and full-time jobs; visit the CDC On-Campus Interviewing Web page.
Friday, Feb. 10 – Students interested in internships, volunteering and full-time employment with a nonprofit organization can register to attend the idealist.org Career Fair to be held on Friday, Feb. 17. There is no fee to attend, but advance registration on the idealist.org Web site is appreciated.
Monday, Feb. 13 – Employers on campus for information sessions. Any student interested in learning about internship or full-time opportunities should plan to come and see these company representatives:
- Best Buy at noon Thursday, Feb. 16, in Room LL62, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts
- Target at noon Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the second-floor atrium lobby, Murray-Herrick Campus Center
