The UST Black Law Students Association will host its annual Night of Distinction on Thursday, April 19. The evening’s theme is “Finishing the Job: Building Bridges to the Future.”
The event will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Schulze Grand Atrium at the University of St. Thomas School of Law in downtown Minneapolis. Everyone is welcome.
Guests will include high school, undergraduate and law students, as well as professionals from the surrounding community. The keynote speaker is Judge Toddrick Barnette of Hennepin County.
Honorees include high school and college students and members of the faculty and staff who exemplify the School of Law’s mission of social justice through a commitment to community service. By recognizing the achievements of the leaders of today, it is hoped that a seed of service and community building will be planted in the leaders of tomorrow.
