Minnesota's Future Doctors Sponsors Backpack Drive

Do you have a gently used backpack (with functioning zippers and no holes) that you no longer use? Consider donating it to a former patient of the Kola Clinic. Located in Minneapolis, the clinic provides medical services to American Indian adults who are chronically homeless. (Kola means "friend" in the Lakota language.)

Backpacks can be dropped off by Tuesday, March 15, at Campus Ministry, Room 105, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.

Over the past few years, many former Kola Clinic patients have found stable housing and are ready to move on with their lives. Today, Kola clients are enrolling in Minneapolis-area GED programs and community colleges. They need school supplies and backpacks – especially backpacks.

The backpack drive is sponsored by Minnesota's Future Doctors.
