Learn more about the wisdom of stopping and stepping back to help determine the best way forward during times of transition. Often, without much thought, organizations will adopt a traditional strategic planning approach. These approaches are based on the deficit theory of change with extensive focus on fixing what is wrong.

There is another way, appreciative inquiry, which shifts the focus to the positive core of the organization and uses that as a platform for future success. Find out how to create a strategic planning approach that leverages appreciative inquiry and transforms your organization.

Gabbard has more than 15 years of shared services leadership experience and has been with Cargill since 2007 as the service unit leader for the Value Services Organization serving financial businesses. His 20-year career has spanned multiple industry segments, including telecommunications, consumer electronics, consumer packaged goods and legal publishing.
