Free 'Aromatherapy' Class may Help Relieve Midterm Stress

What is your favorite smell? The Wellness Center’s free “Aromatherapy” class offers students a chance to discover a smell that may help them relax during Midterm Stress-Relief Week.

The class will be held Monday, March 12, and is limited to 20 students. It is the second in a three-part Wellness Center relaxation series and will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Room 155, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Students will learn basic aromatherapy skills and can create their own bottles of relaxing scents.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Sign up here. Students who register but fail to show up will be charged $10 to cover the cost of materials.

The first part of the series, a partner massage class, was held Feb. 20. The third part of the series, a hot-stone massage class will be held Monday, April 2; in addition, the Wellness Center will host a stress relief retreat  from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 14. Details on the upcoming events will be forthcoming.
