"10 Questions for the Dalai Lama"

Interested in expanding your knowledge about the Dalai Lama? The film "10 Questions for the Dalai Lama" will examine some of life's most pressing questions that were asked of this holy and influential individual.

Join STAR to watch this multiple-award-winning film by filmmaker Rick Ray, who will be present at this event. The show starts at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, in the auditorium, Room 126, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.

Jeff Corwin's talk is part of Family Weekend events

Animal Planet's Jeff Corwin will speak on "Tales From the Field" at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, in O'Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium.

This free event is part of the annually celebrated Family Weekend. His lecture also will include special appearances by his animal friends. Be sure to come early to ensure a seat for your family and friends.

Emmy-winner Corwin has been working for the conservation of endangered species and ecosystems around the world since he was a teenager. Animal Planet audiences best know him as host of "The Jeff Corwin Experience," one of the most popular shows on cable television. The series reaches more than 13 million viewers in the United States and is viewed in more than 70 countries worldwide.
