St. Thomas goes to Ameriprise Financial on April 19

As part of St. Thomas’ corporate outreach programming, the university has teamed up with Ameriprise Financial to host a lunchtime social on Monday, April 19. The event will bring together St. Thomas alumni, graduate students and friends who are employees of Ameriprise.

Those who are working or interning for Ameriprise are invited and are asked to spread the word to other Tommies who might be interested. Complimentary beverages and treats will be provided. All attendees will be entered into a drawing for door prizes.

The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will be held on the fourth floor of Ameriprise headquarters in downtown Minneapolis.  In addition to socializing and networking opportunities, the program will include:

  • 12:15 p.m. – Conversation about ethics with Dr. Kenneth Goodpaster, St. Thomas professor and a nationally recognized leader in business ethics and corporate responsibility.
  • 12:30 p.m. – Panel discussion about “Making Excellence a Habit,” moderated by Dr. Richard Rexeisen, St. Thomas professor and expert in marketing, sales management and consumer behavior.

Panelists include Ameriprise employees: Ann Kirchner, financial adviser; Adam Palen, senior recruiting analyst; Kathy Quandt, operations leader AWM PMO; Stephanie Rustad, vice president - chief privacy officer; and Rich DeMarco, vice president corporate recruiting.
