UST Actuarial Science students won the Travelers' Fifth Annual Actuarial Case Competition! There were 5 schools that participated in the competition in St. Paul: UST, U of MN Twin Cities, University of Wisconsin Madison, University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and Drake University.
Please join us in welcoming our three new faculty members: Amy DeCelles, Thomas Höft and Thorsten Moenig.
Amy DeCelles earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota. She previously taught at Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana.
Thomas Höft earned his Ph.D. in Applied and Industrial Mathematics from the University of Minnesota. He comes to UST from Tufts University in Medford, MA.
Thorsten Moenig holds a Ph.D. from Georgia State University in Risk Management & Insurance. He joins the Actuarial Science program.
We are excited to have three new faculty and look forward to their contributions to the Math & Actuarial Science Department.
