Vocalists Nirmala Rajaseker and David Jordan Harris present Song of Wonder, a concert of Carnatic and Sephardic music, on Wednesday, April 23, 7:30 pm, in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas at the University of St. Thomas. Exploring the theme of wonder through the music and poetry of South Indian and Judeo-Spanish traditions, the vocalists are joined by a trio of distinguished instrumentalists: Carnatic percussion master Thanjavur Muruga Boopathi from Chennai, India , percussionist Mick LaBriola, and ‘ud player David Burk.View Event Information»
Featuring the work of Minnesota artists who specialize in the fine detail of botanical painting, drawing, print-making and fused glass, as well as utilizing the collections of the University of St. Thomas, this exhibition looks at the variety of styles and media that can be exploited to render the fine detail of the natural world of flora.View Event Information»
The St. Thomas Alumni Choir is a mixed vocal ensemble committed to continuing the high choral standards set forth by the St. Thomas choirs. Composed of UST alumni young and old, the St. Thomas Alumni Choir performs both sacred and secular repertoire from contemporary and historic composers.View Event Information»
