Ownership Academy

These full-day seminars are led by family business experts. Learn alongside other business families, while gaining practical tools to enhance decision making in your family business. Spring 2017 seminars are under development.

Cost includes materials and attendance for the whole family.

Seminars like ours can cost as much as $20,000 per person. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are able to make these sessions accessible to a wider range of families. Despite our low price, we can offer scholarships on a limited basis.

Also, by registering for the Ownership Academy your family gains an annual membership to attend our Family Business Breakfast Series at no additional cost.

Roundtables

Due to an overwhelming response from family businesses, the center is establishing peer roundtables (affinity groups) with a targeted launch of early 2017. Groups will average 10-12 members of family businesses. More information and registration information can be found here. Participants can choose from any of these groups:

  • Owners/CEOs
  • Next Generation Leaders
  • Women
  • Philanthropy and Community Engagement
  • Non-owning Family Executives
  • Non-family Executives
  • Spouses not Employed in the Business
