On May 1 and 2, 2014, Michele Berger, the vice president of the National Women’s Studies Association and Associate Director of the Faculty Fellows Program of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, visited UST to offer a workshop and public address to the Women's Studies program. Dr. Berger spoke on “Sparking and Sustaining Feminist Change: Why Women’s and Gender Studies Students are changing themselves and the world.” She shared the many ways in which Women's Studies graduates are making positive contributions to the world, while pursuing a variety of career opportunities. Dr. Berger also led students in a workshop to hone job-seeking skills and to learn how better to communicate their knowledge and expertise.
