Tobacco Free St. Thomas

Tobacco-Free St. Thomas

In 2010 the Undergraduate Student Government brought forth a proposal for an initiative to provide students, employees, and the public with a safe and healthy environment which conforms to the intent of the Minnesota Clean Indoor Act and other relevant legislation. A work group was formed to move the initiative forward with support of the St. Thomas community.

Becoming a tobacco-free campus is part of St. Thomas’s commitment to a healthier campus community. It is designed to be a positive and health directed change. Please see the links to the left for additional information regarding Tobacco-Free St. Thomas and the Official Policy, which goes into effect January 1, 2014.
