The University of St. Thomas offers students a variety of exciting opportunities to learn about sustainability both inside and outside of the classroom. Over 30 different academic departments offer courses that address sustainability topics, and over 50 faculty members conduct sustainability-related research. 

Through the Sustainable Communities Partnership (SCP), students in courses across disciplines engage in real-world, applied research and innovative problem-solving to advance city-identified sustainability and quality of life goals. The University of St. Thomas also offers a sustainability minor, interdisciplinary majors, and grants for student-led sustainabilty research.
