Location:

OWS and OSS patio area (near "Two Canoes" artwork)

Are (or were) you a rockhound? Do you have some cool rocks you’ve found in your travels and want to see what’s inside them? Come by the geology and environmental science table on the lawn between Owens and O’Shaughnessy Science Halls and we will slice open your sample! Don’t have a rock of your own? We’ll cut you a nice slab of a geode or some other cool rock from our stores. Better yet, we’ll show you how to cut your own! Then find out what a geology major can do for you that is way beyond pretty rocks!!
