How many staff members work in the Division of Student Affairs?

Approximately one hundred staff members are employed in the Division of Student Affairs.

What opportunities for involvement are available for students?

Campus-wide programming is provided by a variety of groups on campus including Campus Life, Residence Life, the St. Thomas Activities and Recreation (STAR) board, and the Diversity Activities Board (DAB).  There are opportunities to serve as mentors or be mentored through the Office of International Students & Scholars, as well as Student Diversity & Inclusion Services.  Events for students on campus include dances, movies, lecture series and other events. Each year over 1,000 students are involved in intramural sports available through Athletics. Whether you are interested in sand volleyball, floor hockey or dodgeball, there are many intramural sports in which to participate.

What are the academic credentials of the staff in the Division?

Over 59% of the staff possess a Master's degree or above in their area of expertise. At the doctoral level, there are nine staff in the Division.  Over 29% of the staff are alumni of the University of St. Thomas.
