As a student programming board at the University of St. Thomas, STAR is committed to providing opportunities for students to interact and develop relationships with other students outside of their time in the classroom. STAR is allocated a portion of the student activity fee and uses that money to provide a variety of engaging events for students including live music, movies, bingo, DIY crafts, STAR Adventures (off-campus trips throughout the Twin Cities) and more.

STAR also provides engagement opportunities for each class cohort as they navigate various stages of life as a college student.

For our First-Year students, STAR will host events focused on the transition to college and to help you gain a better understanding of all of the opportunities on campus. For our Sophomores, STAR will host events that are focused on expanding your connections on campus, preparation for internships, and more. And for our Upper-Division students, STAR will host events that are focused on preparation for life off-campus and after graduation, including some fun adulting events.
