Advent is an important time for Christians.  It is a time of active waiting during which we prepare ourselves to welcome Christ into our hearts and into the world as Mary did.

This Morning of Reflection for St. Thomas faculty and staff is designed to help us live the Advent liturgical season more deeply.  Participants will have the opportunity to explore the rich tradition of Advent texts, hymns and devotions with a special focus on Mary as a model of waiting as we prepare to welcome Christ this Christmas.

The morning will be led by Fr. Michael Joncas, University Artist-in-Residence; Fellow, Center for Catholic Studies.
