CRN: 20555 3 Credit Hours Instructor: Scott M. Carl Explores the New Testament through the study of the Synoptic Gospels. Using the Gospel of St. Matthew as the standard all three Synoptic Gosples are examined, as well as theological themes appropriate to each evangelist. The course emphasizes the continuity of divine revelation within Sacred Scripture and the Tradition of the Church. Issues related to hermeneutics and pastoral minsitry are integrated into the exegetical study of the Synoptic Gospels. Prerequisite: DVSS 201 or equivalent.
