Which Office Can Help Me?

The University of St. Thomas has two offices that support faculty and staff with proposals directed to external funding agencies.  You may contact either office with an initial request, and the two offices will communicate and coordinate as necessary to support your proposal.

Sponsored Programs Office

Governmental Agencies

The Sponsored Programs Office assists faculty and staff who are interested in developing grant and contract proposals for submission to state and federal governmental granting agencies.   We work with you to identify sources of funding, review and interpret agency guidelines, develop proposal budgets, commit internal cash matching funds, edit narrative text, navigate the internal approval process, and send proposals to the agencies.

Corporate and Foundation Relations

Private Sources of Funding

Corporate and Foundation Relations helps faculty and staff who are seeking external support from private (non-governmental) sources.  Contact Lori Williamson (interim director) at lwilliamson@stthomas.edu or at 651-962-6949 for assistance.
