Retreat Policy

Charges and Cancellations: The Office for Spirituality charges a nonrefundable fee of equal to the regitration fee for all student retreats ($15 for a day retreat, $20 for a single-night retreat, $30 for a two-night retreat). If a cancellation occurs, the fee will be charged with the exception of a family emergency (hospitalization, funeral, etc).

Transportation: Bus transportation will be provided between the University of St. Thomas and the retreat site through the University's Charter Bus agreement with Lorenz Bus Company. If a student chooses to drive their own vehicle to the retreat site for any reason, neither the Office for Spirituality nor the University is liable and mileage will not be reimbursed. In addition, the Program Manager, Director, or Graduate Retreat Assisitant must be notifed if you do not plan to use the provided transportation.

Accommodations: Rooming will be gender specific. Single rooms are not guaranteed on any retreat; most retreats have 2-4 students per room. Staff members will be in single rooms.

Alcohol and Drug Policy: All student alcohol consumption (regardless of age), illegal or irresponsible drug use, is prohibited on Campus Ministry retreats.

General Conduct: We ask all students to be respectful of the retreat facility and respectful of one another. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated on any Campus Ministry retreat. All policies from the University of St. Thomas Student Handbook also apply.
