How to Become a Peer Minister

Qualifications for Peer Minister position:

• Commitment to deepening your personal relationship with God
• Motivation to serve your peers out of heartfelt compassion and concern for God's people
• A willingness to respectfully engage with all students -- regardless of their faith tradition
• Be a positive role-model and witness to a life of faith on and off campus
• Desire to grow in faith and/or discern a call to ministry
• Have on-campus living experience (preferred)
• Previous experience working in youth ministry or leadership position helpful but not required

Peer Ministers are a team of 6 students who are committed to helping other students to deepen their relationship with God and to live out the Gospel call to love and serve our neighbors, by creating meaningful encounters. Peer Ministers work 8-10 hours a week during the regular academic year (excluding school breaks). New for 2023-2024, Peer Ministers will be paid hourly. They will not be required to live on campus in a residence hall.
