Global Hunger & Migration/Refugee Intern

The Global Justice: Global Hunger & Migration/Refugee Internship is available to any student. The goal of the Internship is to provide students an opportunity to gain hands on experience working for social change in the University community.

This internship is one where the student is primarily working to educate, engage, connect with, and form groups among the St. Thomas student body to build awareness, workshops, experiences, and events that help us end and address Global Hunger & the Migration/Refugee world crisis through partnership with CRS.  Community outreach, legislative research and advocacy, and planning direct actions and events are some but not all the projects that would be under this intern’s role and responsibility.

Tasks that involve direct service or operations support can be part of the experience to the extent that they help the student better understand the issues at stake and the people they are working with.
