Child Protection Social Worker

Provide child protective assessment and case management services to families where children have been in sight or sound of domestic violence. Ideal candidates will possess experience and knowledge in the field of domestic violence, excellent communication and listening skills, knowledge of community resources, and the ability to work with families of various backgrounds. Experience in child protection directly working with diverse populations and possessing bi-lingual skills highly desirable. A MN Social Work license or license eligibility is required with relevant experience working with families.

Family Involvement Strategies: Coordinator/Facilitator

Position provides direct service to families specific to the preparation, coordination and facilitation of Family Involvement Strategies. Primary focus is to engage extended families and support systems in building child safety and well-being plans in collaboration with the county child welfare and juvenile corrections agencies (MN Prairie County Alliance, Rice, Freeborn and Olmsted counties). Position requires a MN Social Work license or license eligibility. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication, listening, computer and organizational skills, knowledge of human services and family systems and experience in the area of conflict resolution and Family Group Decision Making. Family Counselor

Do you want to make a difference in our community working with children and families? Are you looking for a flexible schedule that offers licensure supervision and hours towards your clinical license? Family Service Rochester is seeking a part-time therapist to provide counseling for families from diverse backgrounds and cultures in their homes. Must be knowledgeable in the areas of family systems as well as children, adolescent and family issues. Masters in social work, psychology or a related field and on track for clinical licensure required. Ability to speak Spanish or another language a plus. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to client's homes and flexibility to work hours, including evenings and some weekends that meet client needs.
