This position will be a part of the Karen Chemical Dependency Collaboration (KCDC), a project of HealthEast Roselawn Clinic. Assesses and treats the behavioral, psychological, social, spiritual, and emotional aspects of patients’ needs. Responsible for providing individual and group therapy and chemical dependency treatment at HealthEast Roselawn Clinic to ensure the provision of individualized treatment and quality mental health and chemical dependency services for Karen refugees from Burma. HealthEast Roselawn Clinic serves about half of the more than 8,000 Karen refugees in the Twin Cities.
- Current Minnesota Board of Social Work Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
- Masters prepared Social Worker required
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience providing mental health services (individual and group) to refugees
- Experience working with Refugees and Interpreters highly preferred
