The Training, Advocacy, and Education Coordinator is responsible for leading, organizing and building the model of Cornerstone's trauma-informed and survivor-centered advocacy best practices and managing internal and external training and professional development. A significant focus of this position will be to create a streamlined process that assures all employees, students and volunteers, throughout the organization, are receiving necessary and consistent training addressing a number of key core competencies. Other focus areas include developing, implementing, and coordinating all aspects of our external professional development offerings and providing the MN Day One network of domestic violence, sexual assault, anti-trafficking, youth and general crime providers with training and technical assistance regarding advocacy best practices and models. This position requires a heightened level of decision making, judgment calls, and exercise of discretion.
