We are seeking experienced practitioners who have knowledge of community based mental health services and who are dedicated to the services they provide.  

Position: Mental Health Practitioner

Part Time and Full Time Opportunities

$16.00- $16.64 an hour DOE

Full benefits package at 30 hours or more per week

Paid time off in first year (with future increases) and 7 paid holidays

Mileage Reimbursement

Work Hours: Monday- Friday Day Hours (flexibility)

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a BA/ BS in Human Services or related field and a minimum of 2000 hours supervised experience delivering services to persons with mental illness; or a High School diploma and 6000 hours of mental health experience. Internships and part time jobs qualify.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Pass Department of Human Services background check
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills as well as time management skills
  • Have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
  • Prefer candidates with experience providing community-based services and/ or promoting mental health recovery in a psychosocial rehabilitative program


  • Provide Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) in a variety of locations including housing with supportive services and independent homes/ apartments all located within Hennepin County
  • Promote recovery from mental illness as the ultimate goal
  • Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and maintain complete and accurate clinical records for all participants served
  • Coordinate care with internal and community team members, actively participate in individual and group clinical supervision, and meet productivity expectations on a consistent basis
