The Field Practice Institute Advisory Council

The School of Social Work Field Practice Institute is fortunate to collaborate with deeply invested students, field instructors, and agency partners through the FPI Advisory Council. The Council meets regularly throughout the year to discuss emerging issues, program initiatives, opportunities for partnership, and program operations. We are grateful for the continued dedication and contributions of FPI Advisory Council members.

Purpose: The advisory council of the Field Practice Institute (FPI) assists the FPI in carrying out its mission.  Membership consists of 15 people including students, alumnae, field instructors, agency representatives, and the co-directors.

Role: The role of the advisory council is to: offer feedback on FPI programs and initiatives; link to resources/community partnerships; and create a roundtable for discussion of critical issues and informed opinions related to field education.
