My interest in social work education and research is based on the continued pursuit of social justice, advancing the common good, and service across the life span. I have a strong commitment to lifelong learning and am passionate about the development of professional social work leaders. Undoubtedly, my greatest joy comes from mentoring, guiding, coaching, and empowering both students and field instructors.

Students complete a minimum of 600 hours during the practicum. Campus seminars (III and IV) taken concurrently with the practicum provide guidance for learning continued application of theory and prior experience, and further refinement of social work skills. The clinical field practicum is taken concurrently with GRSW 603: Methods of Clinical Social Work I and GRSW 604: Methods of Clinical Social Work II.
