In the 2012 ranking of accredited* Schools of Social Work, the St. Catherine University - University of St. Thomas School of Social Work was ranked #52, placing it in the top 25% of accredited graduate programs.  These rankings are based on the results of peer assessment surveys sent to deans, other administrators and/or faculty at accredited degree programs or schools.

The St. Kate's - St. Thomas graduate program is extremely proud to be among a small handful of schools ranked in the top 25% that did not have a doctoral program.  The St. Kate's - St. Thomas School of Social Work has since launched its Doctorate in Social Work: Education as Practice in 2014.

*To be included in the ranking, programs must be accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).  As of June, 2014, there were 233 accredited master's of social work programs.
