DSW Students Complete their 2015 On-campus Residency
New cohort 2 students, 15 of whom are from out-of-state, spent 3 days at the Oak Ridge Conference Center in Chaska, MN, for the DSW program orientation. Both first-year and second-year DSW cohorts then spent two weeks on the campus (and in the dorms) of the University of St. Thomas, completing a course and cementing the collegial relationships with their cohort colleagues and faculty that are so important to the program's success.
At the closing reception, cohort 2 students were asked to share a word or phrase about their residency experience. Responses included:
- "Intellectual boot camp"
- "Academic rejuvenation"
- "Exhilarating and exhausting"
