Spring Break Arrival Info
VISION provides global community building opportunities for St. Thomas students to encounter and work alongside diverse communities that are dedicated to creating a more just world. As we witness the strengths and beauty of our site’s members, we come to a deeper, more humble understanding of our own place in the world. Teams are challenged to carry their learning and the six components of VISION into their future studies, careers and communities.
Since 1987, thousands of St. Thomas students have demonstrated their commitment to changing our world by embarking on VISION trips across the country and around the globe. Students who participate in the VISION program come from diverse backgrounds and fields of study, but they have several things in common. Among them is an excitement to serve, a spirit of sacrifice, willingness to risk a new experience and an openness to learn, bend and grow. VISION sends out twelve trips annually over J-term and spring break.
Drop by our office in the Center for Campus Ministry (ASC 207) for guidance, resources and support or email Office for Service and Social Justice Director, Jacob Cunningham for more information.
If you have come here to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.
