The Risk Leadership Initiative (RLI) at the University of St. Thomas (UST) seeks to be a leader and influencer in the promotion and development of informed risk thinking in management practice.  Our Spring Seminar Sponsors help us drive this vision, enabling professional development and networking across industries on relevant risk and strategy topics.  The Spring Seminar program was guided by professions who provided UST insight and feedback.  Our program reflects the highly collaborative relationship we hold corporate partners.  We welcome your support as a sponsor and value your comments as we aim to make the Spring Seminar highly impactful and educational for all our guests. 

$5000 SPRING SEMINAR “KEYNOTE SPONSORSHIP”

Seeking 1 - 2 sponsors at this level.  Benefits include:

  • 5 tickets to seminar and meals (valued at $475)
  • Reserved meal seating
  • Verbal acknowledgement at the keynote session
  • Logo placement identifying the company as a keynote sponsor (in accordance with sponsor’s brand standards):
    • On event programs and/or handouts
    • On the RLI website for the seminar
    • At keynote speaker table
  • Optional digital media coverage, including:
    • Name and logo featured on social media
    • Up to 3 posts or shares on RLI social media
    • Website and/or newsletter article on a topic of interest to the sponsor, or profiling the sponsor’s risk leaders, program, or initiatives, mutually developed by sponsor and the RLI  
  • Optional ability to nominate a panel participant for a breakout session (must be nominated and approved by the RLI Board by no later than March 15, 2018)
  • Optional ability to host sponsor table at the seminar

$3000 “RISK LEADER SPONSORSHIP”

Seeking multiple sponsors at this level.  Benefits include:

  • 3 tickets to seminar and meals (valued at $285)
  • Verbal acknowledgement at the keynote
  • Logo placement identifying the company as a risk leader sponsor (in accordance with sponsor’s brand standards):
    • On event programs and/or handouts
    • On the RLI website for the seminar
  • Optional digital media coverage, including:
    • Name and logo featured on social media
    • Website and/or newsletter article on a topic of interest to the sponsor, mutually developed by sponsor and the RLI   

$1000 “EMERGING RISK LEADER SPONSORSHIP”

Seeking multiple sponsors at this level.  Benefits include:

  • 1 ticket to seminar and meals (valued at $95),
  • Logo placement identifying the company as an emerging risk leader sponsor (in accordance with sponsor’s brand standards):
    • On event programs and/or handouts
    • On the RLI website for the seminar
  • Optional digital media coverage, including:
    • Name and logo featured on social media 

“BOARD PARTNER” RECOGNITION

No financial support required, recognizes the companies that have supported their employees participating in the RLI Advisory Board, a considerable time commitment:

  • Verbal acknowledgment at the keynote
  • Logo placement identifying the partner as a board partner sponsor (in accordance with the sponsor’s brand standards)
    • On event programs and/or handouts
    • On the RLI website for the seminar 

“FUTURE RISK LEADERS” INTERNAL UST SPONSORSHIP

Available to only internal partners such as Law and Engineering Schools, GIS, other clubs or associations within UST. Benefits include:

Our vision is to lead on the promotion and development of informed risk thinking in management practice.


MISSION STATEMENT:

The Risk Leadership Initiative serves to support the vision through:

  • Fostering the creation of a community of individuals with a wide-ranging interest in leading in response to risk and uncertainty
  • Providing leadership development opportunities via learning programs, events, and forums
  • Providing coordination on the development of research related to risk leadership
  • Supporting degree programming in risk leadership and affiliated fields such as Compliance, CSR/Sustainability, Governance, as well as insurance and actuarial science
  • Participating actively in a growing global network of risk leadership partners
