These registration dates and credit limits do not apply to non-degree students who are participating at St. Thomas in university-approved international exchanges or inter-institutional partnerships. Such students are subject to the credit limits and registration times determined by the conditions of the exchange or partnership in which they are participating. Academic and disciplinary sanctions (probation, suspension, dismissal) apply.
**Please note that financial aid is not available for non-degree students.

NOTE: Once non-degree registration begins, you will be notified via e-mail with your registration results.
Prerequisites, Closed, and Waitlisted Courses
Instructor signatures are required on the Change in Registration form to enroll into courses that are closed, waitlisted or if it has pre-and co-requisites that you have not taken here at the University of St. Thomas. If the course is a College of Business course, you will need the signature of Jean Gabler in 128 MCH, which is building 31 on the UST map.
Office of Admissions:
A maximum of 24 credits taken at the University of St. Thomas as non-degree status may be applied to any degree program. A non-degree student who wishes to change status and pursue a degree program must apply for admission.
For information regarding fees, please contact the Business Office at 651-962-6600. Classes may have additional fees such as laboratory fees, music lessons, or other fees associated with classes such as some business and computer courses, technology fee(s), activity fee(s). Please note: The University of St. Thomas does not send paper billing statements. Student eBills are produced monthly. As a courtesy, an email message will be sent to the St. Thomas student email address. Students gain access to the eBill via Murphy Online (Student Services>Student Accounts>View Bill and/or Make Payment). Students are able to view account activity, make payments via ACH or by credit card (check or cash payments are accepted at the Business Office). ID Card Office:
Once you are registered for class(es) you may obtain a free picture identification card at the Card Office.
Blackboard and Viewing Final Grades:
To obtain access to Canvas or to view final grades, you must have use your Network ID and Network Password. If you need assistance, please contact the ITS Tech Desk.
