Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities (ACTC)

The Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities (ACTC) is a consortium designed to facilitate cooperative activities among the five benefiting institutions, which include Augsburg College,  Hamline University, Macalester College, St. Catherine University and the University of St. Thomas.

Registering for an ACTC Course

  1. St. Thomas students submit a complete ACTC Registration Form to the Office of Student Data and Registrar prior to their assigned registration time.
  2. St. Thomas requests registration on behalf of the student at the partner school.
  3. The student is notified of their registration status. If successful, the course will appear on the student schedule detail on Murphy Online.

Note: Instructor approval may be required if an exchange course is fulfilling a major/minor requirement or if the ACTC Registration Form is submitted on or after the first day of class.

Each ACTC partner has a different academic calendar, final exam schedule and registration period. Please review the specific information for the college/university you plan to attend through ACTC exchange.

The Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities no longer offers bus service between the campuses.  There are many sustainable and affordable transportation options, including Metro Transit bus routes, car-sharing and bicycle-sharing programs. ACTC and St. Thomas will continue to work with local organizations, including HourCar, Car2Go and NiceRide to expand the range of transportation options to each member institution.
