Minneapolis Safe Zone RadioLINK
Public Safety participates in the downtown Minneapolis RadioLINK, a communications network set up amongst multiple private security agencies and the Minneapolis Police Department. Any agency is able to share information about suspicious or criminal activity to the network at any time. The RadioLINK is monitored by a Public Safety officer in Minneapolis on each shift, who verifies communication with the network via radio roll call every day. By participating in the RadioLINK program, Public Safety stays better informed of activity around campus and in the general downtown area, and makes the campus safer.
