Twin Cities

About the Twin Cities

Minneapolis-St. Paul has it all: a sophisticated urban setting, rich and thriving racial and ethnically diverse communities and resources, nationally-recognized culture and arts centers, major sports teams, and lots of accessible outdoor (all-season) recreation. The culture of Minnesota was created, and continues to be influenced, by immigrants and the metro area has become far richer and more diverse as a result. The Walker Art Center, Guthrie Theater, the Somali Museum of Minnesota, the Hmong Village and Marketplace, and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts are just a few examples of the rich cultural scene in the Twin Cities.
