Family Business Center

The St. Thomas Family Business Center enters its fourth decade of educating business families. Monthly gatherings on campus bring family businesses together to learn about and engage on topics like fair vs. equal, entrepreneurship in the family business, selling the family business, and employee engagement done right. There’s no cost to check us out.

Scholarships for Student’s Business Idea!

With over $80,000 awarded each year, your student could win up to $15,000 in scholarships! Encourage your budding entrepreneur to compete in the 2022 Fowler Business Concept Challenge. This entry-level competition is open to students of all majors. All students need is a business idea that solves a problem they’re passionate about. Students can receive extensive support through one-on-one coaching and workshops to help them develop their concept. Submissions are due on October 24. The top 32 teams win at least a $1,000 scholarship for competing!
