2021-2022 FAFSA Now Available

Tutoring, Midterms, and More!
Learn about how you can support your student in preparing for their midterm exams, tutoring options, and upcoming academic dates and deadlines.
Residence Life Updates
October can be a time in which roommates may need to revisit their roommate agreement. Students are encouraged to engage in dialogue around the issues they are facing as roommates. This is also the time when students start thinking about housing for the 2021-22 academic year. We anticipate terrific on-campus housing options for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Safety Precautions Off Campus
The neighborhoods around our St. Paul campus are relatively safe, but students can’t be too careful. With days getting shorter, streets are darker earlier at night. Review these safety precautions with your student.
Depression Screening Available
Is your student feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or sad? They don’t have to.
Study Abroad Info Sessions
The Office of Study Abroad will be hosting virtual information sessions for Business majors/minors and students interested in the Fall 2021 Rome Empower Program. Encourage your students to join us!
Research Opportunities
October is a great time for students to start on the path to an independent research experience. Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) hosts several signature virtual events this month to connect new and experienced student researchers and faculty mentors. All students are invited to get to know and join the St. Thomas research community.
Career Corner
This issue highlights upcoming special-topic career workshops, employer events, and the upcoming Government & Nonprofit Career Fair. It’s all virtual!
Pride Month and LGBTQ+ History Programs
As our academic year continues throughout the fall, one of the Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion Services (SDIS) key programming months is our celebration of Pride Month and focusing on the civil rights history of the LGBTQ+ community.
Celebrate Your Student
The Campus Store has care packages available for you to order for your student. Remind your student you care about them with a "Thinking of You Care Package" or send them a special treat on their birthday. Gift Cards to the Campus Store are also available for purchase online.
