Renter 101: Living Off Campus

Renter 101 is a great way for students to decide whether or not they want to rent a property off campus for the next academic year.

Scheduled for Wednesday, November 15, at 5:30 p.m. in MHC 205, this information session features a panel of students discussing the realities and responsibilities of renting a house, duplex or apartment.

During this “free pizza” workshop, students will learn about:

  • Rental contracts and leases,
  • How to be a good neighbor,
  • City rules and regulations, and more.

Attendees will have the chance to win $200 toward their first month’s rent (payment will go directly to the landlord) and gift cards to area businesses.
