April is a peak month for college students seeking employment whether it is a summer job, internship or a full-time professional position upon graduation. Whatever the reason, the Career Development Center offers the following resources for students and alumni.
TommieCareers currently has over 1,600 summer, internship and full-time positions posted on the website for students/alumni to apply directly to employers seeking candidates.
Students need to create a branded profile that allows employers to find them based on specific search criteria.
The staff of the Career Development Center offer free appointments to assist with employment searches and career planning decisions. The sessions are tailored to meet each client’s needs. We are open throughout the summer months. Students and alumni may call, 651-962-6761, to schedule an appointment.
Seminars and Special Events:
A variety of seminars are offered weekly to educate students on effective internship and job search tactics.
