Sustainable Communities Partnership
The University of St. Thomas Sustainable Communities Partnership (SCP) collaborates with cities, government agencies, and non-profits to integrate sustainability projects important to the community into St. Thomas courses across disciplines, engaging students in real-world, applied learning.
SCP's multi-year partnerships and collaborative projects seek to catalyze systems-level change towards human and environmental well-being in the Twin Cities area and to prepare students for the complexities of problem-solving in contemporary society.
Through SCP Arts, students collaborate with local artists, writers, and communities to explore and bring to life community-identified sustainability goals for people of all ages.
