Mississippi River Experiences

Coming 2020 to the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization's (MWMO) Stormwater Learning Center

This is a collaborative exhibit with SCP Arts, Society and Sustainability (ENVR 212), the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization (MWMO), and the Natural Heritage Project

About the Exhibit

This exhibit will be collaboratively created by students in Society and Sustainability (ENVR 212), taught by Maria Dahmus, the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization (MWMO), the Natural Heritage Project (NHP), and SCP Artist-in-Residence, Sarah Nelson.  Students will collaborate with the MWMO and NHP to explore people's connections with the Mississippi River through an interactive, public art experience. The goal of this project is to engage a diversity of voices to draw out multiple perspectives and connections with the Mississippi River - from personal connections and meanings to ecological, economic, and policy perspectives.
