Mel Chin is an internationally recognized conceptual  artist who insinuates art into unlikely places to investigate how art can provoke greater social awareness and responsibility. He created Revival Field (1990-ongoing), a project in a Superfund site in St. Paul that has been a pioneer in "green remediation," the use of plants to remove toxins from the soil. Now 27 years later, Chin returns to visit the site of Revival Field and to share its story and impact.

Mel's Chin's visit to the Twin Cities is presented by Public Art Saint Paul with co-sponsorship by the University of Saint Thomas, Great River Passage in the City of Saint Paul's Department of Parks, Macalester College Department of Art, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and Walker Art Center.
