Stop by the Sustainable Communities Partnership (SCP) Fall 2019 project display in the library rotunda September 23-27!

SCP develops multi-year partnerships with cities and government entities and on-campus initiatives to integrate partner-identified sustainability projects into existing St. Thomas courses across disciplines.  Projects, which include ecological, social, and economic dimensions of sustainability, engage students in real-world, applied research and innovative problem-solving while advancing city sustainability and quality of life goals.  SCP Arts engages students in applied, arts-based projects;  through artist led workshops in class, artists and students co-create art to enrich analysis of problems and communication of findings.  Partners share this artwork in their communities and beyond, engaging people of all ages with sustainability goals. Check out upcoming projects and art work from last fall!
