The Office of Sustainability Initiatives in the Center for Global and Local Engagement invites all faculty to an open house to learn about Spring 2016 opportunities for experiential, community-engaged learning through our new Sustainable Communities Partnership (SCP). SCP links city-identified, high-priority sustainability goals and projects with existing UST graduate and undergraduate courses across disciplines. Through SCP, students apply course content to real-world issues to advance the common good. Faculty from all disciplines and programs are invited to participate. SCP provides curricular and logistical support to integrate this experiential and applied learning experience into existing courses. Stop by LIB 108 (Leather Room) between 3-5pm on Friday, November 6 to learn about our Spring 2016 pilot partners, projects, and how your course can participate. Light refreshments provided. Please contact Maria Dahmus if you have questions or would like more information.
