Three from UST Law Named Attorneys of the Year

Three lawyers affiliated with the University of St. Thomas School of Law are among Minnesota Lawyer’s Attorneys of the Year: Lisa Montpetit Brabbit, senior assistant dean for external relations and programs; Jeffrey S. Storms, class of 2006; and Kay Nord Hunt, adjunct professor.

‌Brabbit is recognized for her work with the Infinity Project, for which she is a founder. The Infinity Project works to increase gender diversity of the state and federal bench to ensure the quality of justice in the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Storms is a partner with Gaskins, Bennett, Birrell, Schupp, LL.P. He practices in the areas of civil rights, personal injury, and business litigation.

Hunt, who teaches Lawyer Skills III for the law school, is an appellate attorney with the Lommen Abdo Law Firm.

All three will be honored at a dinner and awards presentation Feb. 20.
