Please remember in your prayers Laurel Baughn Nitti. She was former assistant director of the accounting M.B.A. program and sister of Sue Wagner, a long-time former Opus College of Business employee. Laurel died Monday, Sept. 22, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Laurel was a graduate of Bemidji State University and the University of Kansas (MSEd, Counseling Psychology). She lived in Shoreview, and is survived by her husband and daughter, Nick and Lucia Nitti.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Church of the Assumption, 51 West Seventh Street, St. Paul. Visitation was an hour prior to the funeral Mass. There was a luncheon afterwards in the lower church.
