Professor Jerry Organ Is One of National Jurist's 'Most Influential People'

‌Professor Jerry Organ was recognized as one of the "Most Influential People in Legal Education" by National Jurist for his work requiring law schools to post scholarship retention policies.

Of his accomplishments, National Jurist noted:

"Jerry Organ continues to lead the transparency charge when it comes to law school scholarship retention rates. Thanks, in part, to his efforts, those rates are required to be on law school website pages.

Some schools had shockingly low retentions, so students – believing they had a full ride if they performed well academically – suddenly found themselves responsible for their own tuitions. They ended up angry – and in debt.

Organ, who ranked 20th on the 2012 list, has been involved in helping move forward the ABA’s effort to gather employment outcome information as a member of the Questionnaire Committee."
