Dr. Mark Neuzil, College of Arts and Sciences (Communication and Journalism Department), is a new contributing journalist for MinnPost.com, a nonprofit, online daily that will launch later this year. He will cover environment and agriculture for MinnPost.

Ken Melrose, Opus College of Business, will give the keynote address at the opening luncheon for The Hill Center for Ethical Business Leadership Oct. 4 at the St. Paul Hotel.

Dr. Tatha Wiley, College of Arts and Sciences (Theology Department ), is the author of a chapter, “Paul and Early Christianity,” in Empire and the Christian Tradition: New Readings of Classical Theologians, published by Fortress Press.

Dr. Meg Wilkes Karraker, College of Arts and Sciences (Sociology and Criminal Justice Department), has accepted an invitation to join the advisory council for Sarah’s … An Oasis for Women.  Sarah’s is a direct service ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondolet, providing housing and resources for immigrant women in St. Paul.

Dr. John Wendt, Opus College of Business (Ethics and Business Law Department), was inducted into the University of Minnesota Aquatics Hall of Fame, which was organized to give recognition to outstanding alumni and friends who have made significant contributions to the university’s aquatics program.
