Dr. Meg Wilkes Karraker, College of Arts and Sciences (Sociology and Criminal Justice Department), has accepted an invitation to join the advisory council for Sarah’s … An Oasis for Women. Sarah’s is a direct service ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondolet, providing housing and resources for immigrant women in St. Paul. Dr. John Wendt, Opus College of Business (Ethics and Business Law Department), was inducted into the University of Minnesota Aquatics Hall of Fame, which was organized to give recognition to outstanding alumni and friends who have made significant contributions to the university’s aquatics program.
